He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward McLaughlin and Ocia Page McLaughlin; his wife Dianna Posey Bonnevier; and his siblings, Rebecca Batts and Randolf McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Ernest Bonnevier (Rebecca), William Bonnevier (Tammy) and Shannon Bonnevier; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Batts. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (705 S Spruce St, Vivian, LA 71082).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made in Jerry's name to Northwest Louisiana Veterans Home, 3130 Arthur Teague Parkway, Bossier City, Louisiana 71112.
