He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Thomas and Alma Thomas; his wife Neva Thomas; and his siblings, Buddy Thomas, Edna Crye and Marie Stevens.
He is survived by: his children, Letetia "Tish" McGuire of Bossier City and John Thomas (Pat) of Vivian; his granddaughter Johnna Kunath (Jason); his great grandchildren, Michaela, Morgan, Lexa, Grayson, Matthew and Claire; his grandson Seth Thomas; his great grandchild John Seth; his grandson Heath Thomas; his great grandchildren, Avery, Anleigh, Pierce, Memphis, Hannah Winget (Alex) and Meghan Nottingham (Justin); and also, Kurt, Trent, Ryann and Gentry.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gorsulowsky Funeral Home (1107 S Pine St, Vivian, LA 71082). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
