He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Angle and Peggy Angle; and his siblings, Terrie, Jimmy and Tommy.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his daughter Jessica Shelton (Coby); his grandsons, Parker Shelton and Lawsen Shelton; and his siblings, Susan Bruce (Jimmie) and David Angle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
