It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Malcolm David Edwards of Vivian, Louisiana, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edwards and Mona Edwards; his brother Charles Edwards of Ruston; his former wife Betty O'Rear Edwards; his wife Ellen Roberts Edwards; and his son-in-law Robert Burks of Des Moines, IA..
He is survived by: his sisters, Barbara Ann Slack of Minden, Penny McCann of Minden, Sheryl Burks of Des Moines, IA, Melissa Frautschi (Roland) of Shreveport, LA and Melanie Thibodeaux (Lonnie) of Glen Rose, TX.; and his grandchildren, Amy Burks, Dusten Galvin, Logan Thibodeaux, Haley Sylvest, Lanie Thibodeaux, Ellen Holmes, Margaret Taylor and Alexis Teague.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Trinity Heights Church Mission fund. 3820 Old Mooringsport Rd Shreveport, LA 71107 No services will be held.
