She was predeceased by: her father Eli Richmond; her husband Darrell Loyd; her daughter Joy Tyrell Loyd-Estep; her granddaughter Lacey Brooke Oakes; her mother Beulah Jordan Richmond; and her siblings, Ralph Richmond, Charles Richmond, Eva Mae Hayden, Shirley McCullough and Audrey Holcomb.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Loyd Avery (Randy) and Darrell Stirling Loyd (Kristi); her grandchildren, Brock Oakes (Melissa), Dade Loyd and Emma Loyd; her great grandchildren, Macen Nix, Reide Oakes, Noah Bradshaw and Amelia Oakes; her stepgreat-grandchild Hadley Hertz; and her siblings, James Harold Richmond, Martha Mollette, Norma Sue Jeansonne and Lana Faye Paul. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (1815 Marshall St, Shreveport, LA 71101). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the Hosston Cemetery.
