He was predeceased by: his parents, George Trosclair and Wilhelmina Trosclair; his stepmother Velma Trosclair; and his siblings, Cecile Kelly, Rachel Curran, Georgia Peterson, Martha Kellum, Josie Milner and Little George Irvin Trosclair Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Trosclair; his children, Denise Cheramie (Terry), Joan Rhoads (Kent), Michael Trosclair Jr. (Karen) and Bridget Bailes (Kenny); and his siblings, Paul Trosclair and Marie Johnson. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
