He was predeceased by: his parents, Prentiss F. Bullock and Heather Yolanda Montford; his wife Emma F. Bullock; his brother Dr. C. Holt Bullock; his stepdaughter Wanda Harmon; and his stepgreat-grandchild Madison Clark.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Jacen McClain; his children, Caryl Thurmon, Greg King, Richard Sanderson Bullock, II, Heather Renee'Parker, Debra Rodriguez (Pete), Keith Matchett (Missy), Janie Miller (Rodney), Dana Foster and Melody Blizzard; and his siblings, Prentiss Jackson Bullock, Stephen Bullock (Linda) and Glenna Bullock. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, niece and nephews.
