It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Owens of Waggaman, Louisiana, born in Columbia, Louisiana, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Owens and Rosamae Owens; and his sibling Wardell Willingham. He is survived by : his wife Debbie Owens; his son Anthony Owens; his stepsons, Myron Walker, Cleveland and John Lewis; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Kieron, A'Jah and Jaydyn Owens; his stepgrandchild Jousha Walker; and his siblings, Izeha Slade (Larry), Patricia Owens, Theresa Owens, Emanuel Owens and Milton Owens. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
