He was predeceased by: his parents, Clea May and Zettie May; his wife Mary Magdalene May "Maggie"; his children, Veronica Sue Smith and Clarence May Jr.; his son-in-law Richard Smith; and his siblings, Johnnie Blount, Bill, Murray, Cline and Carl.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Mitchell (Michael) and Frankie Bozeman (Rory). He is also survived by numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great- Great Grandchildren.
