He is survived by: his wife Ann "Sherri" Muse Ellis; and his children, Kelli Ellis and Derek Ellis (Cori).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Walker Baptist Church (10696 Florida Blvd, Walker, LA 70785). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at the Walker Baptist Church Cemetery (29010 Walker South Rd, Walker, LA 70785).
