He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Tyler; his son Marty Babin; his parents, Herbert Tyler and Quinnie Tyler; and his siblings, Cecil Tyler, Raymond Tyler, Kerney Tyler, Gladys Tucker, Erlene Roby, Evelyn Erwin and Virgina Cockerham.
He is survived by: his children, Johnette Ross (Scott), Lynn Kinchen (Keith) and David Babin (Renee); his grandchildren, Tyler, Torie Ross, Brooks, Blaze Kinchen, Jordyn, Joseph Babin, Meagan and Trey Babin; and his great grandchildren, Abilene Kinchen, Hudson Kinchen, Jimmie and Ruby Sibley.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Revival Temple (9422 Florida Blvd, Walker, LA 70785). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
