He is survived by: his sons, Randall Christian Kael (Jennifer), Ross Channing Kael (Alysia) and Reid Colin Kael (Angelle); and his brothers, Rudy Kael (Michele), Mark Kael (Julie) and Shawn Kael (Connie).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Randall's memory to the St. Bernard Parish Fire Department, in honor of his years of service and dedication to the community he loved.
