She was predeceased by: her father Curtis Usry; her mother-in-law Rita Mathews; and her nephew Thomas Bradley Smith. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Usry; her husband Michael "Mike" Mathews; her sons, Eric (Paige) and Brian Matthews (Amanda); her grandchildren, Kayden, Jayce Mathews, Hunter, Haileigh, Payton, Preston and Brennah; her siblings, Terry (Melanie), Mark Usry (Wendy) and Jan Smith (Tommy); her father-in-law Roland Mathews; and her in-laws, Stephanie Meade (Jim) and Andrew Mathews. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home and Crematory-Hammond (2000 N Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at the Old Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (25890 LA-442, Independence, LA 70443).
