He is survived by: his son Patrick Rowell; his brother Dave Rowell (Jerrine); and his nieces and nephews, Jancie Rowell Corie, Mika Rowell LaBorde (Mike), Jarred and Austin Theriot.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Rabenhorst Funeral Home & Crematory East (11000 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which was a charity Bill faithfully supported.
