She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Marks of Houston, TX, Roy Sam of Houston, TX, Floyd Sam of Arnaudville, LA and Walter Sam of Lafayette, LA; her aunt Camille Comeaux of Grand Coteau, LA; her son Charlie Sam of Lafayette, LA; her granddaughters, Kar'lie Rae and Kharlie Renee'Sam; her godson Norman Comeaux; and her friend Stephanie Lamb. She is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Williams Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM.
