She was predeceased by: her parents, Girod Griffin and Fanny Griffin; her siblings, Amanda Pearson (Jesse Pearson, Sr.) and Girod Griffin, Jr. (Mathilda); her husband Jerry White; her children, Robert White, Sr. (Jane), Wilbert White and Fannye White Strickland; her stepchildren, Cheryl Claiborne and Allen Claiborne, Jr.; and her niece Linda Morgan (Juanita Pearson).

She is survived by: her children, Jerry White, Jr. (Lorraine), Mary White Cole, Donald White, Sr., David White, Sr. (Linda), Carol White Johnson (Aaron), Lynnette White-Colin and Michelle White-Julien (Gerard, Sr.); her aunt Odelia Carr; her sibling's children, Jesse Pearson, Jr., David Pearson, Faye Fleming Pearson and Winnie Pearson; and also Allen Claiborne. She is also survived by her 32 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and 12 great, great grandchildren, other cousins, great nieces and nephews.
