He was predeceased by: his parents, Ophelia Toomer and Oshedricks, Sr. Toomer; and his siblings, Shirley Coleman and Johanna Toomer. He is survived by: his spouse Gizelda Toomer; his sister Lettie Ann Toomer-White (Fred); and his sibling's children, Greer Toomer, Shanell Toomer, Tameka Burger (Mark) and Joshua Burger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rhodes Funeral Home - Washington Avenue (3933 Washington Ave, New Orleans, LA 70125). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
