With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda J. Young of Washington, Louisiana, who passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Young, and Joseph Young, Sr.; her brother Joseph Young, Jr. (Paulette); and her grandparents, Charlotte Bean, Joseph Alexander, Minnie and Joseph Young.
She is survived by: her siblings, Rose Marie Franklin and Gerald Young (Helena); her children, Mirodello Ashford, Jr. (Shanita), Danielle L. Ashford and Gregory J. Ashford (Ashia); and her grandchildren, Herbert IV, Mirodello III, Derbert, Deishawn, Freddie, My'Rion, Gabrielle, Dalis, Gabrianna and Gabriela. She is also survived by one great grandchild Honor and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
