He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his children, Dwyn (Melvin), Wendy (Jerome) and Winston; his grandchildren, Terry Dunn, Jerome Steib II, Dwyn Steib and Javen Turner; his great grandchild Jordyn Steib; and his son Zeric Dunn (Brandy).
He lived through history—born during the Great Depression, witnessing three wars, marching for civil rights, watching the moon landing, enduring Hurricane Katrina, voting for the first Black president, and surviving the COVID-19 pandemic.
