It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Maury Goodwin of Watson, Louisiana, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Neal Duncan Goodwin and Florence Clossner Goodwin; his aunt Lillie Bell Closener; his sister Jo Duncan Price; and his granddaughter Brandi Michelle Pebworth.
He is survived by : his wife Ruth Goodwin; his sister Sarah Mericer; his children, Sharon Davis (Randy), Sissy Benard (Jim), Barbie Allen (Bryan) and Johnny Goodwin (Jackie); and his grandchildren, Danielle, Diane, Staci, Cory, Kayla, Colby, Lacey, Shelby and Sydney.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A masonic service was held on Tuesday, February 6th 2024 at 7:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM.
