She was predeceased by: her husband Feltus Gilbert Mayers; her children, Keith Alan Mayers and Connie Mayers Gerstein; her sons-in-law, Donald Matheson and Cecil Edmond Hall; her grandson Nicholas Roppolo; and her parents, Hunter DeWitt Norwood and Roberta Fridge Norwood.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Matheson, Peggy Hall and Lea Roppolo (Steve); her children-in-law, Robin Mayers and Fred Gerstein; and her grandchildren, Kimberley Bernard (Daniel), Shawn Bourque, Brandon Bourque (Jessie), Benjamin Hall (Kellie), Laura Hall, Kristy Roy (Kevin), Rodney Gerstein (Amy), Jacob Mayers (Dagmar), Jared Mayers (Natalie), Sarah Smith (Logan) and Bradley Roppolo.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
