In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Lettie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Lettie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Carpenter; her daughter Debbie Carpenter; her parents, Dedric Cutrer and Claudia Lewis Cutrer; and her stepmother Lorrine Cutrer.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy (Shirley Carpenter), Claudia (Gerry Stack), Kathy (James Womack) and Ken (Vicki Mason). She is also survived by wife for 57 years, she was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
