He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Dunham and Vera Krumholt Dunham. He is survived by: his wife Susan Dunham; his son Brandon Dunham (Angi); his grandchildren, Kailey, Kendall, Kathlyn and Brant; his son Josh Dunham (Rainee); his grandchildren, JoJo, Nikki, Brutus and Jake; his son James Nesmith (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Jacob, Julia and Sylvie; his son Dustin Nesmith; his grandchild Sydney; his son Doug Nesmith (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Ryan, Emma, Nora, Lyla and Teagan; his son Ian Nesmith; his grandchildren, Liam and Vivian; his siblings, Sherrie Dougay (Charles) and Ken Dunham (Sharon); the mother of his children Dana Dunham; Colleen Cox (Jim) and Christopher Collins (Sherri).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Ricky's memory with a donation in his name to UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he courageously fought his battle against AML, or to The PMD Foundation (Pelizaeus-Merzbacher Disease), the disease that affects his grandson, Brant. The PMD Foundation helps fund research in hopes that one day there will be a treatment or cure for PMD.
