He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Hardy and Eva Hardy (Allemond); his wife Mary Hardy; his daughter Stephanie Hardy; and his brothers, LeRoy, Lilton and Gerald Hardy.

He is survived by : his son Paul Hardy (Nancibelle); his sisters, Kathy Guidry (Robert) and Margaret Newton; his brother-in-law Bill Newton; his grandchildren, Shelbie Hardy (Isaac) and Dustin Hardy; his stepgrandson Jonathan Williams (Bonnie); and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Avery and Reese Katherine.
