It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Joseph Touchet Sr. of Welsh, Louisiana, who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Touchet and Rena Neuman Touchet; his wife Diane Touchet; his sons, David Touchet, Jr. and Kevin Touchet; his great grandchild Sean Touchet; his siblings, Ernest Touchet, Cindy McElhaney, Mary Smith, Debbie Mott and Angela Touchet; and his stepsons, Lawrence Bordelon and Forrest Bordelon.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Arnold (Nathaniel Arnold), Donna Lyon (Theodore Lyon) and Elizabeth Touchet (Caskey Worley); his grandchildren, Jeremy Touchet (Elizabeth Touchet), Kalob Waugaman, Talon Foil, Bethany Foil, Megan Bebee, Maranda Bebee, Allison Touchet, Kathleen Touchet and Rebecca Lamprise; his siblings, Bobby Touchet, Judy Avant (Johnny Avant), Theresa Cormier (Robert Cormier), Randy Touchet (Cindy) and Belinda Brown; and his stepchildren, Laurie Fontenot, Leigh Bordelon (Mark Eris), Celina Bordelon, Elizabeth Bordelon, Aaron Bordelon, Rachel Bordelon and Katherine Fontenot (Dusty). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, 21 step grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
