He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Prague Lyon of Welsh; his children, Gilbert Anson Lyon, III (Karen) of Orange, Jeffrey Christopher Lyon (Charlotte) of Welsh, Timothy Patrick Lyon (Michelle), Mary Suzanne Hebert (Kevin) of Round Rock and Theodore James Lyon (Donna) of Lake Charles; his grandchildren, Jana Davidson, Gilbert Lyon, IV, Sara Kleinpeter, Kristian Lyon, Devin Lyon, Michael Lyon, William Lyon, Amanda Farnum, Karl Hebert, Ashley Hanks, Heather Borne, Tiffany Lowe, Mason Bower and Alyssa Lyon; his brother Emery F. Lyon of Welsh; and his siblings-in-law, Anne and Dr. Lee J. Monlezun of Lake Charles. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
