She was predeceased by: her parents, Komakichi Wada and Sada Dotoku; her siblings, Kiyoko, Harue, Chotaro and Tatsuji; her husband Louis Fontenot; her daughter Lumiko Hope Hryzan; her son-in-law Terry Hryzan; her husband Norman Charles Fredericks; and her son Norman Lynne Fredericks.
She is survived by: her sister Kimiko Wada of Fukui, Japan; her son John Fredericks (Daisy) of Lake Charles; her grandchildren, Heather Charpiat (Craig) of Odenton, MD, Nicole Witt (Jason) of Littlestown, PA, Brett Lawrence of Welsh, Matthew Fredericks of Welsh, Jacob Fredericks, Ian Fredericks of Lake Charles, Catheryn Fredericks of Lake Charles and Laura Bryant (Kale) of Welsh; her great grandchildren, Lindsay, Taylor, Amberlynn, Presley, Tyler, Barrett, Leah and Percy; and her sister-in-law Wilma. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (306 N Adams St, Welsh, LA 70591).
