He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Shelby Stringer and Mildred Pittman Stringer. He is survived by: his great grandchild Selena Rebecca Lopez; his wife Suzanne Watkins Stringer of Welsh, Louisiana.; and his stepchildren, Rachel Robertson (Stuart), Nancy Cline, Ruth Fruge (Chester), Paul Cline (Angie) and Evelyn Fruge (Marlan).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Le Centre.
