He was predeceased by: his parents, Adras Fruge and Alia Carrier Fruge; and his sister Nettie Miller. He is survived by: his wife Irma; his sons, Dr. Nick Fruge' (Lisa) of Youngsville, LA and Paul Fruge' (Kim) of Shelbyville, TN; and his sister Betty Fruge (Floyd) of Welsh. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Seven Dolors (209 N Adams St, Welsh, LA 70591).
