She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Earl Deville and Effie Marie Deville of Turkey Creek, Louisiana; her husband Martin "Tony" Aday; her brothers, Roger Dale Deville and Harry James Deville; and her son Kevin Lane Gilbert.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph William Gilbert Jr. and Christopher Sterling Gilbert; her brother Roy Earl Deville Jr.; and her grandchildren, Harrison Sterling Gilbert, Alice Gilbert, Allison Gilbert, Kevin Lane Gilbert Jr. and Samuel Roy Gilbert. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
