She was predeceased by: her parents, B. H. Dyar and Ruby Upton Dyar; her husband Dare Locke; her son Gary Sugar; her sister Janis Evans; and her great grandchild Mallory Foreman.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Sugar Martin, Bruce Locke (Sandra) and Larry Locke; and her grandchildren, Amy Martin Faught (Jim), Christa Martin Petersen (Jeff), Emily Martin Toungate (Chad), Christopher Sugar (Dusti), Stephen Sugar, Barrett Locke and Jessica Groff (Matt). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
