He was predeceased by: his parents, James LeRoy and Ester Tidwell Elmore; his brother James Elmore; and his parents-in-law, John Hansford and Evelyn Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Elmore; his daughters, Charlene Ragan (Brian) and Wendy Chandler; his grandchildren, Tyler Ragan (Jessie), Spencer Ragan (Bailey), Eric Chandler, David Chandler and Samantha Jaiden Chandler; his great grandchildren, Murphy Ragan, Hildi Ragan and Miller Ragan; his siblings, Jimmie Dale Elmore, Carl Van Elmore (Connie), Cora Sue Hedden and Judy Bearden (Larry); and his brother-in-law Johnny Russell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
