It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Doan of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Rayville, Louisiana, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Cynthia is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her husband John C. Doan; her parents, Killis G. Nappier, Jr. and Edna Garland; and her brothers, Ray Nappier, Rick Wilson and Garry Wilson.
She is survived by: her son David DeWayne Doan (Alissa); her stepsons, Clifton Wayne Doan and James Richard Doan; her brother Bruce Nappier (Deborah); her brother-in-law James McDaniel (Wanda); her niece Brittany Wilson; and her close friend Lorrie Gimbellot. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
