He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ben and Vada Cox of Crowville, Louisiana.; his wife Marjorie Lea Douglas Cox; and his siblings, Martiel McNease of Lucille Ford, W. V, Prentice Cox and Bobby Cox.
He is survived by: his son Michael L. Cox of Howey; his grandchildren, Brittany Cox Hammons (David) of Memphis, TN and Joshua Thomas Cox of Howey; and his sister Shirley Hodges of Jackson, MS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
