With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Bell of West Monroe, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Bell and Grace Byrd Bell; his brother Robert L. Bell (Bob); his father-in-law Gerald Morehead; and his nephew Tommy Morehead.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Morehead Bell; his in-laws, Reverend Johnny, Pam Morehead Hankins, Scotty and Lynette Knight Morehead; his mother-in-law Beverly Morehead; and his nephew Drs.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Walnut Grove Cemetery (1936 Cooney Bonnett Rd, Eros, LA 71238).
Memorials may be made in Bill's name to the Woodlawn Methodist Church of West Monroe.
