We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2025, at the age of 97, Hillery Daniel Dozier of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Liddieville, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Hillery may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Dozier and Lela Dozier; and his siblings, Julius Dozier, Sandford Dozier, Lilly Dozier and Laura Fay Dozier Thornton.
He is survived by: his wife Velda Dozier; and his son Wendell M. Dozier.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Cemetery.
