He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Loyd Holyfield and Virginia Ridley Holyfield; and his brothers, Milton Loyd Holyfield, Jr., Henry Holyfield and Bubba Holyfield.
He is survived by: his wife Carmen Holyfield; his children, Mark Holyfield (Courtney), Todd Holyfield, Jimmy Holyfield, Pam Charrier (Sam) and Kim Holyfield-Smith (David); his grandchildren, Bailey Holyfield Baier (Sam), Ainsley Giglierano (Vincent), Kate Holyfield (Mark), Brennan Holyfield, Lindsay Holyfield, Avery Holyfield (Todd), Christian Charrier (Lorraine), Canaan Charrier, Sarah Charrier (Pam) and Braylon Smith (Kim); and his great grandchildren, Aletheia Charrier (Christian) and Jordan Giglierano (Ainsley). He is also survived by the five children he raised, the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe (300 McMillan Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paschal's Catholic Church (711 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Matthew's Catholic Cemetery (121 Jackson St, Monroe, LA 71201).
