He is survived by: his sons, Jeremy Townsend (Holly) and Alan Townsend; his grandchildren, Alex Calhoun (Catcher), Brenden Townsend, Sarrah Townsend and Troy Townsend; his great grandchild Archer James Calhoun; and his siblings, Sherman Townsend (Lou), Roland Townsend (Gloria), Bessie Temple, George Townsend (Deloris), Doris Reiger, Pat Thomas, Benny Townsend (Im), Johnny Mac Townsend (Roxanne) and Dianne Hamm. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
