He was predeceased by: his parents, Ocie Elmer and Lois Childress Towery; his wife Patricia Towery; his daughter Terri Kay Towery; his siblings, John Felton Towery, Ocie Towery, Jr., Charles Wayne Towery, R. C. Towery and Lillian Towery McKnight; and his stepson Danny Wilhite.
He is survived by: his sister Evelyn Ramsey; and his daughter Rhonda Tolar (Rickie). He is also survived by 2 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
