He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Trichell and Lorena Trichell; his wife Patsy; and his grandson Trey. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Trichell Jr. (Felicia), Neil Trichell (Susan), Lori Trichell McLemore and Willie Trichell (Renae); his grandchildren, Jacob Trichell, Justin Golson (Sydney), Emily Dennis (Stephen), Reid Golson (Maggie), Jordan Clay (Will), Katie Tremaine (Richard), Mallorie Valencia (Alvin), Cole Trichell, Anna Claire Trichell and Ella Trichell; and his great grandchildren, Vayda Mae, Deuce, Everett, Collier, Laurel, Alaina, Evelyn, Knox, Olivia, Nolan, Pierce, Gage, William, Lucy Jane, Aubrey Jo, Rosie and Jasper.
In lieu of flowers, Joe's wish was for memorials to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
