He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Rice; his parents, Buford Rice and Janie Noble Rice; his children, Bobbie Murray and Donald Osborne; and his son-in-law Michael Jones, Sr..
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Nora Jones, Burley Osborne (Sandra), William Osborne (Elizabeth) and Lori Smith; and his sister Marie Edwards. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
