He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Thomas (Jeff), Kristin Brackin (Trey) and Karla Griffin; his grandchildren, Robyn Grossman (Paul), Andrew Thomas (Yumi), Bethani England (Wil), Caleb Thomas (Ashley), Melissa Taylor and Daniel Thomas (Mia); and his great grandchildren, Noah Thomas, Eli Thomas, Luca Thomas, Liam Thomas, James England and Ensley Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rev. John Wayne Griffin may be made to the Compassion Center of the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home and Family Ministries designated for Bibles.
