It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Calhoun of West Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Buford Calhoun; her daughters, Karen Ann Calhoun and Little Baby Calhoun; her parents, Homer Allen and Lucy Allen; and her siblings, Homer Allen, Lennie England and Martha Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail Wallace (Gator); her grandsons, Shannon Murphy (Crystal) and Jarred Wallace; her great grandchildren, Hanley Murphy and Mercedes Jo Wallace; and her siblings, Glenn Allen, Betty Lynn Allen and Linda Murphy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes - West Monroe (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
