With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katie Lou Allen Blakeney of West Monroe, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennett Wilson Allen, Sr. and Katie Allen; and her siblings, Matt, Henry Dale, Huey, Chelcia of Richard, B. W., Marteal, Jo, Mary and Charlotte.
She is survived by: her husband Homer Blakeney; her children, Cindy Horton (Eddie), Alan Blakeney (Rebecca) and Joey Blakeney (Lori); her grandchildren, Luke Blakeney (Kristina), Julia Blakeney and Hannah Blakeney; her great grandchildren, Jackson and Harper Blakeney; and her sister Pat Hare. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
