We announce the death of Lisa Carol Thomas (West Monroe, Louisiana), who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 58. Lisa will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carolyn Jo Ellis and Thomas Henry Ellis, Sr.; and her husband Carroll Thomas. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Jacob Thomas Ellis, DeAnna Marie Ellis-Johnson, Hannah Marie Ellis-Johnson, Joshua James Ellis (Cristy Ellis) and Smokey Michael Hosea (Alexis Hosea); and her siblings, Tom Ellis, Billie Jean (Clem Bently Sturdivant), Natalie, Elizabeth, Madelyn, Erik, Beaux, Elijah, Charley, Annabel, Lakelyn, Kutter Jo, Kinlee and Maymie. She is also survived by grandkids, my brother's grandkids, our nieces and nephews, and for me and my brother.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Heaven Bound Funeral Home (703 N 4th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
