She was predeceased by: her husband Shirley J. Myers; her parents, Reo Mier and Pearly Mier; her sisters, Amanda Faust and Clara Dornette; and her granddaughter Krystal Richter.

She is survived by: her children, Faith Tarver (Elmo), Hope Grigsby, Charity Owens (Wayne) and Casey Myers (Sandra); and her siblings, Deborah Wanger and Ronald Mier. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home (300 McMillan Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
