She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Carter, Sr.; her parents, Howard Henry and Bessie Henry; her siblings, Annie Jean Henry (Linda) and Harold Henry, Sr.; her sister-in-law Ann Henry; her nephews, Harold Henry, Jr. and Chris Henry; and her brother-in-law Arthur Mott.
She is survived by: her children, John Alton Carter, Jr., Greg Carter (Robbie) and Holley Carter (Dean); her grandchildren, Jessica Carter Reeves and Jonathan Carter; her great grandchildren, Nate, Alex Reeves, Henry, Clara and Nolan Carter; and her sister Doris Mott. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; along with other extended family.
