He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Lee Murphy Sr. and Charlene Hughes Murphy; his brother David Murphy; his grandparents, Jim, Pency Murphy, Luther Hughes and Gladys Owen; and his parents-in-law, Howard Bailey, Carolyn Bailey Donaldson and Doyle LaRon "Ron" Donaldson Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Adonna Bailey Murphy; his children, Adam Murphy (Chella) and Abby Murphy; his grandchildren, Nathan Evans, Makayla Murphy (Mersadies) and Hudson Murphy; his great grandchild Briana Ponder Evans; his siblings, Sherry White, Bobby Murphy Jr. (Debra), Janie Murphy (Susanne) and Sandy Minchew (Clint); and his sisters-in-law, Carrie Milstead (Robby) and Kim Osbon (Derek). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
