He was predeceased by: his former wives, Vertie Lowry and Kay Ann Lowry; and his parents, Stancil Lowry and Ophelia Lowry. He is survived by: his wife Betty Long Lowry; his daughters, Cindy Turnbow (Bill) and Judy Vercher (Arthur); his sister Ruby Hillis; his sister-in-law Cindy Elee (Larry); and his stepchildren, Clyde Jolly and Jennifer Cole. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
