It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Machen of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Downsville, Louisiana, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy S. Machen; his son Robert Frank Machen, Jr.; and his parents, Loyd Machen and Lillian Aulds Machen. He is survived by: his children, Leanne Williams (Trent) and David Machen (Lori); his daughter-in-law Wendy Machen; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Dietz (Chris), Rachel Albough (Paul), Michael Machen (Shayne), Robert Machen, Sergejs Williams, Marija Williams, Anna Mouton (Ethan), Ashley Numak (Thomas), Megan Pinder (David Michael) and Chase Woodard (Stormie). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; along with other extended family.
